Anxiety can live in the body
For many people, anxiety becomes something that is felt physically as much as mentally. You may notice tightness in your chest, difficulty relaxing, racing thoughts, trouble sleeping, or a sense that your nervous system rarely fully settles.
Sometimes people understand why they feel anxious, and other times the feeling seems to persist even when things appear “fine” on the surface.
How somatic therapy can help
Somatic therapy invites us to slow down and become more aware of how anxiety may be living in the body and shaping patterns in daily life. Together we may explore emotional experiences, nervous system responses, and the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations.
My approach combines somatic and relational therapy while making space for curiosity, compassion, and a healthier relationship with yourself.
