Sometimes we can feel pulled in different directions
Many people notice different sides of themselves emerging in different moments. You may notice a self-critical part, an anxious part, a protective part, or a part that feels shut down or overwhelmed.
These experiences are not a sign that something is wrong with you. Often these parts developed in ways that helped you adapt, protect yourself, or navigate difficult experiences.
How therapy can help
Parts work creates space to become curious about these experiences rather than fighting against them. Together we may explore how different parts of yourself relate to one another, what they may be trying to protect, and how a different relationship with yourself can begin to emerge.
My approach combines somatic and relational therapy with ideas informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS).
