Disconnection can happen slowly
Disconnection from ourselves often develops gradually. At times it may emerge through stress, overwhelm, difficult experiences, relationships, or long periods of needing to push feelings aside in order to keep functioning.
You may notice difficulty identifying emotions, feeling emotionally flat, struggling to feel present, or sensing distance in relationships with yourself or others.
How therapy can help
Therapy can become a space to slow down and reconnect with experiences that may have felt distant or difficult to access. Together we may explore emotional patterns, relationships, bodily experiences, and ways of relating to yourself that may no longer feel sustainable.
My approach combines somatic and relational therapy while creating space for curiosity, reflection, and a healthier relationship with yourself.
